Wasik is a funeral home with multiple locations serving families living in Metro Detroit. They have done this for generations because they built a community presence through really listening to families. As time has gone by, that reputation has become a little less valuable because 80% of people only call the first funeral home they see online.

When tasked with a delicate responsibility like this, it’s important to have tact. We don’t want to hound people in a capitalistic manner. Our aim was to meet them where they already were and present Wasik earnestly. We took over their social media channels displaying their values, and designed print graphics to put in local church bulletins.

Additionally, we implemented an automated review generation system because well-reviewed businesses appear at the top of search engines. Basically, the family gets a message in their inbox prompting them to give feedback on their service. This way, they can leave a positive review, or if the service wasn’t ideal, Wasik was able to gain insight on how to better treat families with care. Through this, they went from getting a few reviews a year to over 40 positive testimonials annually. We got their impressions up, bettered their search visibility, and most importantly, showed families they can trust Wasik.
